Father (2/3)

Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.”Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”
But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you do not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
You should know in your heart that as a man chastens his son, so the Lord your God chastens you.Know then in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the Lord your God disciplines you.
If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.
In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. This, then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.’
And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever.
And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.
If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.
For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world.
Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.“Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”
Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.
To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.
But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me.Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me.
By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
I came forth from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father.I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father.
So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”
Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
Therefore let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father. As for you, see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.
He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life, but will acknowledge that name before my Father and his angels.
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear.Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.
