You have given me the shield of your salvation; your right hand… Psalm 18:36-37

You have given me the shield of your salvation; your right hand sustains me, and your goodness makes me great. You broadened the path beneath me so that my feet have never stumbled. He is the reflection of God’s glory and the perfect expression of his very being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. Achieving purification from sins, he took his seat at the right hand of the Majesty on high. Hebrews 1:3	The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven. sin purification

My son, concentrate attentively on my words; pay heed to the instructions I pass on to you. Do not let them slip from your mind; keep them forever in your heart. Let the word of Christ with all its richness dwell in you. Teach and admonish one another in all wisdom, singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God with gratitude in your hearts. The way of God is blameless; the Lord’s promise has proved true. He is a shield to all who take refuge in him. 2 Samuel 22:31	God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. blameless protection
I treasure your word in my heart for fear that I may sin against you. Psalm 119:11	I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. heart sin
As Scripture asserts, “No one who believes in him will be put to shame.” Romans 10:11	As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.” faith reliability
Every word you utter is true, and all your righteous judgments are everlasting. Psalm 119:160	The very essence of your words is truth; all your just regulations will stand forever. reliability law
You have been born anew, not of perishable but of imperishable seed, through the living and enduring word of God. 1 Peter 1:23	For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God. rebirth

Therefore say to them, “Thus says the Lord God: The fulfillment of my words will not be delayed any longer. What I have said will be done now. The seed sown among thorns is the one who hears the word, but worldly cares and the lure of riches choke the word and it bears no fruit. Matthew 13:22	The seed that fell among the thorns represents those who hear God’s word, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the worries of this life and the lure of wealth, so no fruit is produced. worrying money temptation
Acquire wisdom and gain understanding; never forget or turn aside from my words. Proverbs 4:5	Get wisdom; develop good judgment. Don’t forget my words or turn away from them. wisdom understanding obedience
The one who calls you is faithful, and he will accomplish this. 1 Thessalonians 5:24	God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful. calling faithfulness promises
Listen, my son, and take my words to heart, and the years of your life will be multiplied. Proverbs 4:10	My child, listen to me and do as I say, and you will have a long, good life. obedience law life
You have already been cleansed by the word I have spoken to you. John 15:3	You have already been pruned and purified by the message I have given you. purification speaking evil
Through him all things came into existence, and without him there was nothing. That which came to be. John 1:3	God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him. creation life
Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not a single letter, not even a tiny portion of a letter, will disappear from the Law until all things have been accomplished. Matthew 5:18	I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not even the smallest detail of God’s law will disappear until its purpose is achieved. reliability law heaven
