- If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
- For the Lord your God is gracious and compassionate. He will not turn his face from you if you return to him.
- The Lord is with you when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.
- Now let the fear of the Lord be on you. Judge carefully, for with the Lord our God there is no injustice or partiality or bribery.
Know then in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the Lord your God disciplines you. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
