14 Bibelverse über den Zorn

King James VersionEnglish Standard Version
Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil.Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful.
Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil.Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and give no opportunity to the devil.
Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all offenses.
Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him. Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord. You shall not hate your brother in your heart, but you shall reason frankly with your neighbor, lest you incur sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.
Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger.
He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a hasty temper exalts folly.
A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.
And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.And he said, “What comes out of a person is what defiles him. For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.”
Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.By insolence comes nothing but strife, but with those who take advice is wisdom.
It is an honour for a man to cease from strife: but every fool will be meddling. It is an honor for a man to keep aloof from strife, but every fool will be quarreling.
A fool's wrath is presently known: but a prudent man covereth shame. The vexation of a fool is known at once, but the prudent ignores an insult.
A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards.A fool gives full vent to his spirit, but a wise man quietly holds it back.
Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the Lord; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the Lord, and I will not keep anger for ever.Return, faithless Israel, declares the Lord. I will not look on you in anger, for I am merciful, declares the Lord; I will not be angry forever.
Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
