Evangelism (2/2)

For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. For I resolved that, while I was with you, I would know nothing except Jesus Christ—and him crucified.
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. But you are “a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people claimed by God as his own possession,” so that you may proclaim the praise of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”“Peace be with you,” Jesus said to them again. “As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”
Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Messiah. And every day, both in the temple and at home, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming Jesus as the Christ.
“Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.”He said to them, “Come, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right.”Then Peter addressed them: “I now understand how true it is that God has no favorites, but that in every nation all those who fear God and do what is right are acceptable to him.”
For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building. For we are God’s coworkers; you are God’s field, God’s building.
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”I then heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? Who will go for us?” I said, “Here I am. Send me!”
You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house.I did not hesitate to tell you what was for your benefit as I proclaimed the word to you and taught you publicly as well as from house to house.
But God has helped me to this very day; so I stand here and testify to small and great alike. I am saying nothing beyond what the prophets and Moses said would happen— that the Messiah would suffer and, as the first to rise from the dead, would bring the message of light to his own people and to the Gentiles. But I have had help from God to this very day, and I stand here and testify to both the lowly and the great. I assert nothing more than what the Prophets and Moses said would occur: that the Christ must suffer, and that, by being the first to rise from the dead, he would proclaim light to the people and to the Gentiles.
As for you, see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.Let what you heard from the beginning remain in you. If what you heard from the beginning remains in you, then you will remain in the Son and in the Father.
All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation. All this has been done by God, who has reconciled us to himself through Christ and entrusted us with the ministry of reconciliation.
Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great: He appeared in the flesh, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.Without any doubt, the mystery of our religion is great: He was made visible in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed to the Gentiles, believed in throughout the world, taken up in glory.
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.Stand firm, then, with the belt of truth fastened around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness clothing you, and with your feet shod in zeal to proclaim the gospel of peace. In all circumstances, hold in your hand the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.Jesus traveled all throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and curing every type of disease and illness among the people.
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. And the good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the entire world as a testimony offered to all the nations. And then the end will come.
Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’Cure the sick who are there, and say, ‘The kingdom of God has come unto you.’
