| For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign Lord. Repent and live! | “For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies,” declares the Lord God. “Therefore, repent and live!” |
| And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. | And I will put My Spirit within you and bring it about that you walk in My statutes, and are careful and follow My ordinances. |

| And so I will show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord. | So I will prove Myself great, show Myself holy, and make Myself known in the sight of many nations; and they will know that I am the Lord. |
| Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall. | Repent and turn away from all your offenses, so that wrongdoing does not become a stumbling block to you. |
| But if a wicked person turns away from all the sins they have committed and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, that person will surely live; they will not die. | But if the wicked person turns from all his sins which he has committed and keeps all My statutes and practices justice and righteousness, he shall certainly live; he shall not die. |
| Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign Lord. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live? | “Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked,” declares the Lord God, “rather than that he would turn from his ways and live?” |
| I will make them and the places surrounding my hill a blessing. I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessing. | I will make them and the places around My hill a blessing. And I will make showers fall in their season; they will be showers of blessing. |
| I will show the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, the name you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Sovereign Lord, when I am proved holy through you before their eyes. | “And I will vindicate the holiness of My great name which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am the Lord,” declares the Lord God, “when I show Myself holy among you in their sight.” |
