I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.I pray that, according to the riches of his glory, he may grant that you may be strengthened in your inner being with power through his Spirit, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and grounded in love.
Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
For we live by believing and not by seeing.For we walk by faith, not by sight.
I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind.But ask in faith, never doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.And without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever would approach him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
Jesus responded, “Didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe?”Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?”
“What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.”Jesus said to him, “If you are able!—All things can be done for the one who believes.”
For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.Because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy. The reward for trusting him will be the salvation of your souls.Although you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and rejoice with an indescribable and glorious joy, for you are receiving the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.Whatever you ask for in prayer with faith, you will receive.
Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this, Martha?”Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith.For whatever is born of God conquers the world. And this is the victory that conquers the world, our faith.
Accept other believers who are weak in faith, and don’t argue with them about what they think is right or wrong.Welcome those who are weak in faith, but not for the purpose of quarreling over opinions.
But you, Timothy, are a man of God; so run from all these evil things. Pursue righteousness and a godly life, along with faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.But as for you, man of God, shun all this; pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, gentleness.
Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong.Keep alert, stand firm in your faith, be courageous, be strong.
And Jesus said to him, “Go, for your faith has healed you.” Instantly the man could see, and he followed Jesus down the road.Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith has made you well.” Immediately he regained his sight and followed him on the way.
If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing.And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven.Are any among you sick? For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.For one believes with the heart and so is justified, and one confesses with the mouth and so is saved.
It was by faith that even Sarah was able to have a child, though she was barren and was too old. She believed that God would keep his promise.By faith he received power of procreation, even though he was too old—and Sarah herself was barren—because he considered him faithful who had promised.
This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.”For in it the righteousness of God is revealed through faith for faith; as it is written, “The one who is righteous will live by faith.”

For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes.For in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith. As many of you as were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
