| But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. | However, God has revealed these things to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit explores everything, even the depths of God. |

| Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. | Adulterers! And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” | And I heard a loud voice proclaim from the throne: “Behold, God’s dwelling is with mankind; he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and he will be their God, God-with-them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will no longer be death. Neither will there be any mourning or crying or pain, for the old order has passed away.” |
| And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” | And a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” |
| This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts. | This is the Lord’s message to Zerubbabel: Not by force, nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts. |
| You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! | You believe that there is one God. You do well to assert that. But even the demons believe and tremble. |
| And to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself, is more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices. | And ‘to love him with all your heart, and with all your understanding, and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself,’ is worth more than any burnt offerings and sacrifices. |
