You lust, and don’t have. You murder and covet, and can’t obtain… James 4:2

You lust, and don’t have. You murder and covet, and can’t obtain. You fight and make war. You don’t have, because you don’t ask. James 4:2	You want something that you cannot have, so you commit murder. And you covet something but cannot obtain it, so you engage in quarrels and fights. You do not have because you do not ask. sin desires prayer
You adulterers and adulteresses, don’t you know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. James 4:4	Adulterers! Do you not know that love of the world results in enmity with God? Therefore, whoever wishes to be a lover of the world makes himself an enemy of God. sin God friendship

Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you. James 4:10	Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you. God humility reward
Only one is the lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge another? James 4:12	There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save or to destroy. Who then are you to pass judgment on a neighbor? law judgment salvation
