- You shall not make other gods besides Me; gods of silver or gods of gold, you shall not make for yourselves.
- The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. - I will never forget Your precepts,
For by them You have revived me. - But one who has looked intently at the perfect law, the law of freedom, and has continued in it, not having become a forgetful hearer but an active doer, this person will be blessed in what he does.
- There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is able to save and to destroy; but who are you, judging your neighbor?
- I am the Lord your God; walk in My statutes and keep My ordinances and follow them. Sanctify My Sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between Me and you, so that you may know that I am the Lord your God.
- We are Jews by nature and not sinners from the Gentiles; nevertheless, knowing that a person is not justified by works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the Law; since by works of the Law no flesh will be justified.
- I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies,
As much as in all riches. - Therefore, whoever nullifies one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
- So then, does He who provides you with the Spirit and works miracles among you, do it by works of the Law, or by hearing with faith?
- Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness.
- You shall not commit murder; You shall not commit adultery; You shall not steal; You shall not give false testimony; Honor your father and mother; and You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
- Now if a person sins and does any of the things which the Lord has commanded not to be done, though he was unaware, he is still guilty and shall bear his punishment.
- Incline my heart to Your testimonies,
And not to dishonest gain. - The way of the Lord is a stronghold for the upright,
But ruin to the workers of injustice. - The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
- I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly.
- You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you, nor take away from it, so that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I am commanding you.
- But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, but it is the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction.
- But if the wicked person turns from all his sins which he has committed and keeps all My statutes and practices justice and righteousness, he shall certainly live; he shall not die.
- So you shall keep My commandments, and do them; I am the Lord.
- The one who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will reveal Myself to him.
- And I will walk at liberty,
For I seek Your precepts. - You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not leave unpunished the one who takes His name in vain.
- So you shall keep His statutes and His commandments which I am giving you today, so that it may go well for you and for your children after you, and that you may live long on the land which the Lord your God is giving you for all time.
