| Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? | Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? |
| But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. | But strive first for the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. |
| Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. | So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring worries of its own. Today's trouble is enough for today. |
