Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother: And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Execute true justice, Show mercy and compassion Everyone to his brother. Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, The alien or the poor. Let none of you plan evil in his heart Against his brother.’
But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.
Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.
Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.Therefore receive one another, just as Christ also received us, to the glory of God.
Thine own friend, and thy father's friend, forsake not; neither go into thy brother's house in the day of thy calamity: for better is a neighbour that is near than a brother far off.Do not forsake your own friend or your father’s friend, Nor go to your brother’s house in the day of your calamity; Better is a neighbor nearby than a brother far away.
If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.
Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.”
No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.
Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke?
Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.Arise, O Lord! O God, lift up Your hand! Do not forget the humble.
Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.Defend the poor and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and needy.
If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.
Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God.
He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise.He answered and said to them, “He who has two tunics, let him give to him who has none; and he who has food, let him do likewise.”

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.
But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant.Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave.
Honour widows that are widows indeed.Honor widows who are really widows.
Again, I considered all travail, and every right work, that for this a man is envied of his neighbour. This is also vanity and vexation of spirit.Again, I saw that for all toil and every skillful work a man is envied by his neighbor. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind.
Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church.

And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.And to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself, is more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
