Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.Let your kindness be known to everyone. The Lord is near.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.Do not worry about anything, but present your needs to God in prayer and petition, with thanksgiving. Then the peace of God, which is beyond all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.Finally, brethren, let your minds be filled with whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, whatever is excellent, whatever is worthy of praise.
Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.Do the things that you have learned, received, and heard from me and that you saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.
I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.I do not say this because I have been in need, for I have learned to be content with whatever I have.
I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.I know how to live with little, and I know how to live with plenty. In any and all circumstances, I have learned the secret of being well fed and of going hungry, of having plenty and of being in need.
I can do all this through him who gives me strength.I can do all things in him who strengthens me.
And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.And my God will fully supply all your needs out of the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
To our God and Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
