- A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches,
and loving favour rather than silver and gold. - By humility and the fear of the Lord
are riches, and honour, and life. - Train up a child in the way he should go:
and when he is old, he will not depart from it. - The rich ruleth over the poor,
and the borrower is servant to the lender.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.Next verse! With image
