- Commit thy works unto the Lord,
and thy thoughts shall be established. - Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths. - Let not mercy and truth forsake thee:
bind them about thy neck;
write them upon the table of thine heart:
So shalt thou find favour and good understanding
in the sight of God and man. - He that covereth a transgression seeketh love;
but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends. - Keep thy heart with all diligence;
for out of it are the issues of life. - As in water face answereth to face,
so the heart of man to man. - Train up a child in the way he should go:
and when he is old, he will not depart from it. - He that followeth after righteousness and mercy
findeth life, righteousness, and honour. - A friend loveth at all times,
and a brother is born for adversity. - The liberal soul shall be made fat:
and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.
How much better is it to get wisdom than gold!
and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver! The liberal soul shall be made fat:
and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.Next verse!With image
