- Commit thy works unto the Lord,
and thy thoughts shall be established. - Let not mercy and truth forsake thee:
bind them about thy neck;
write them upon the table of thine heart:
So shalt thou find favour and good understanding
in the sight of God and man. - Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths. - He that covereth a transgression seeketh love;
but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends. - Keep thy heart with all diligence;
for out of it are the issues of life. - As in water face answereth to face,
so the heart of man to man. - A friend loveth at all times,
and a brother is born for adversity. - He that followeth after righteousness and mercy
findeth life, righteousness, and honour. - Train up a child in the way he should go:
and when he is old, he will not depart from it. - The liberal soul shall be made fat:
and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.
For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.Next verse!With image
