Proverbs 27 - NKJV & KJV

Do not forsake your own friend or your father’s friend, Nor go to your brother’s house in the day of your calamity; Better is a neighbor nearby than a brother far away.Thine own friend, and thy father's friend, forsake not; neither go into thy brother's house in the day of thy calamity: for better is a neighbour that is near than a brother far off.
A prudent man foresees evil and hides himself; The simple pass on and are punished.A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself; but the simple pass on, and are punished.
As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.
As in water face reflects face, So a man’s heart reveals the man.As in water face answereth to face, so the heart of man to man.

Try me, and know my anxieties;
And see if there is any wicked way in me,
And lead me in the way everlasting.
