Psalm 32 - NRSV & NIV

Happy are those whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.
While I kept silence, my body wasted away through my groaning all day long. When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long.
Then I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not hide my iniquity; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and you forgave the guilt of my sin. SelahThen I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin.
You are a hiding place for me; you preserve me from trouble; you surround me with glad cries of deliverance. SelahYou are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.
I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.

Bible verse of the day

Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity
and passing over the transgression
of the remnant of your possession?
He does not retain his anger forever,
because he delights in showing clemency.
