| Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? | Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? |

| For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. | For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. |

| But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. | But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. |
