Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. Colossians 3:2	Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. heaven mind world
What are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them? Psalm 8:4	What are human beings that you are mindful of them, mortals that you care for them? blessing humility grace
We are witnesses of these things and so is the Holy Spirit, who is given by God to those who obey him. Acts 5:32	And we are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey him. obedience Spirit receiving

The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions. Galatians 5:17	For what the flesh desires is opposed to the Spirit, and what the Spirit desires is opposed to the flesh; for these are opposed to each other, to prevent you from doing what you want. obedience Spirit

And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Philippians 4:8	Finally, beloved, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. truth righteousness thoughts

But for us, There is one God, the Father, by whom all things were created, and for whom we live. And there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things were created, and through whom we live.

Yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.
