| Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. | Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well. |
| For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. | So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. |
| And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. | Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. |
