- Or do you think that I cannot appeal to My Father, and He will at once put at My disposal more than twelve legions of angels?

- Now may the Lord of peace Himself continually grant you peace in every circumstance. The Lord be with you all!
- Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, so that He may exalt you at the proper time.
- Look at the birds of the sky, that they do not sow, nor reap, nor gather crops into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more important than they?
- Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?

In Your right hand there are pleasures forever. - Hear my prayer, Lord, and listen to my cry for help;

For I am a stranger with You,
One who lives abroad, like all my fathers. - With every prayer and request, pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be alert with all perseverance and every request for all the saints.
- The end of all things is near; therefore, be of sound judgment and sober spirit for the purpose of prayer.
- No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God remains in us, and His love is perfected in us.
- And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
- Therefore, since He has been exalted at the right hand of God, and has received the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father, He has poured out this which you both see and hear.
- You shall not oppress any widow or orphan. If you oppress him at all, and if he does cry out to Me, I will assuredly hear his cry; and My anger will be kindled, and I will kill you with the sword, and your wives shall become widows and your children fatherless.
- And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not stop teaching and preaching the good news of Jesus as the Christ.
- Now about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.
- The Lord will send His goodness in the daytime;
And His song will be with me in the night,
A prayer to the God of my life. - And when they arrest you and hand you over, do not worry beforehand about what you are to say, but say whatever is given you at that time; for you are not the ones speaking, but it is the Holy Spirit.
