Burdens be lifted up (2/4)

He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly.He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless.
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.
Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.
For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.”For this is what the high and exalted One says— he who lives forever, whose name is holy: “I live in a high and holy place, but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite.”
Then He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude. So they all ate and were filled, and twelve baskets of the leftover fragments were taken up by them.Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke them. Then he gave them to the disciples to distribute to the people. They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.
The Lord makes poor and makes rich; He brings low and lifts up.The Lord sends poverty and wealth; he humbles and he exalts.

I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.”Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.”
But, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ.Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.
For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known.There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known.
When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.”Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”
But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes; and they will condemn Him to death, and deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock and to scourge and to crucify. And the third day He will rise again.We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death and will hand him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified. On the third day he will be raised to life!
Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.
But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head.But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high.
And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”
Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification.Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up.
A merry heart does good, like medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones.A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
Oh, how great is Your goodness, Which You have laid up for those who fear You, Which You have prepared for those who trust in You In the presence of the sons of men!How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you.
Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You. Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands.
Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming.

O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off.You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.
