- Watch! Stand firm in the faith! Be courageous! Be strong!
- Turn back, and tell Hezekiah the prince of my people, ‘Yahweh, the God of David your father, says, “I have heard your prayer. I have seen your tears. Behold, I will heal you. On the third day, you will go up to Yahweh’s house.”’
- But they, when they saw him walking on the sea, supposed that it was a ghost, and cried out; for they all saw him and were troubled. But he immediately spoke with them and said to them, “Cheer up! It is I! Don’t be afraid.”
- Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs it down,
but a kind word makes it glad. - Where could I go from your Spirit?
Or where could I flee from your presence?
If I ascend up into heaven, you are there.
If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, you are there! - Wake up righteously and don’t sin, for some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.
- It shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant. Whoever desires to be first among you shall be your bondservant.
- Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace, above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one.
- Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations.
I will be exalted in the earth. - So the assemblies throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were built up. They were multiplied, walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit.
- The Lord Yahweh’s Spirit is on me,
because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the humble.
He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives
and release to those who are bound. - For he will never be shaken.
The righteous will be remembered forever. - Therefore put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
- Don’t judge,
and you won’t be judged.
Don’t condemn,
and you won’t be condemned.
Set free,
and you will be set free. - For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
- Be exalted, God, above the heavens!
Let your glory be above all the earth! - Let no one deceive you in any way. For it will not be unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of destruction. He opposes and exalts himself against all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself up as God.
- Then Peter came and said to him, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Until seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I don’t tell you until seven times, but, until seventy times seven.”
- Don’t judge, so that you won’t be judged.
- He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who disbelieves will be condemned.
- Haven’t I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go.
- Live as free people, yet not using your freedom for a cloak of wickedness, but as bondservants of God.
- Heal me, O Yahweh, and I will be healed.
Save me, and I will be saved;
for you are my praise. - I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world.
- Who exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions. For their women changed the natural function into that which is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural function of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men doing what is inappropriate with men, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error. Even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting.
Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you,
and through the rivers, they will not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned,
and flame will not scorch you.Next verse! With image
