He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we did in righteousness, but in accordance with His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit.Not by works of righteousness which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit.

But the gracious gift is not like the offense. For if by the offense of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many.But the free gift isn’t like the trespass. But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed.
But now in Christ Jesus you who previously were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off are made near in the blood of Christ.
And He Himself brought our sins in His body up on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live for righteousness; by His wounds you were healed.He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds.
By this we know that we remain in Him and He in us, because He has given to us of His Spirit.By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
However, it was our sicknesses that He Himself bore, And our pains that He carried; Yet we ourselves assumed that He had been afflicted, Struck down by God, and humiliated.Surely he has borne our sickness and carried our suffering; yet we considered him plagued, struck by God, and afflicted.
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus.For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

In the exercise of His will He gave us birth by the word of truth, so that we would be a kind of first fruits among His creatures.Of his own will he gave birth to us by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.
