Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Chosen'
- I have chosen the faithful way;
I have placed Your judgments before me. - Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
The people He has chosen for His own inheritance. - How much better it is to get wisdom than gold!
And to get understanding is to be chosen above silver. - So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.
- But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
- Do not be afraid, little flock, because your Father has chosen to give you the kingdom.
- A good name is to be more desired than great wealth;
Favor is better than silver and gold. - And the insignificant things of the world and the despised God has chosen, the things that are not, so that He may nullify the things that are, so that no human may boast before God.
- Is this not the fast that I choose:
To release the bonds of wickedness,
To undo the ropes of the yoke,
And to let the oppressed go free,
And break every yoke? - You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you.
- So you are to be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy; and I have singled you out from the peoples to be Mine.
- To whom God willed to make known what the wealth of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles is, the mystery that is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
- Therefore, brothers and sisters, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choice of you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble; for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you.
A prudent person sees evil and hides himself;
But the naive proceed, and pay the penalty.
