Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Chosen'
- I have chosen the way of faithfulness;
I have set my heart on your laws. - Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
the people he chose for his inheritance. - Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
- But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
- How much better to get wisdom than gold,
to get insight rather than silver! - A good name is more desirable than great riches;
to be esteemed is better than silver or gold. - Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen:
to loose the chains of injustice
and untie the cords of the yoke,
to set the oppressed free
and break every yoke? - To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
- Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.
- God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him.
- You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.
- You are to be holy to me because I, the Lord, am holy, and I have set you apart from the nations to be my own.
- Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble, and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Who is he, this King of glory?
The Lord Almighty—
he is the King of glory. Though the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,
yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will be joyful in God my Savior.Next verse!With image
