For bodily training is just slightly beneficial, but godliness is beneficial for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.For while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.

All these evil things come from within and defile the person.”And he said, “What comes out of a person is what defiles him. For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.”
But He knows the way I take; When He has put me to the test, I will come out as gold. My foot has held on to His path; I have kept His way and not turned aside.But he knows the way that I take; when he has tried me, I shall come out as gold. And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.”
But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Too little to be among the clans of Judah, From you One will come forth for Me to be ruler in Israel. His times of coming forth are from long ago, From the days of eternity.But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah, who are too little to be among the clans of Judah, from you shall come forth for me one who is to be ruler in Israel, whose coming forth is from of old, from ancient days.
For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
And the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified. He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying.”But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay.”
But who am I and who are my people that we should be able to offer as generously as this? For all things come from You, and from Your hand we have given to You.But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able thus to offer willingly? For all things come from you, and of your own have we given you.

Now the Lord said to Moses, “Come up to Me on the mountain and stay there, and I will give you the stone tablets with the Law and the commandments which I have written for their instruction.”The Lord said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain and wait there, that I may give you the tablets of stone, with the law and the commandment, which I have written for their instruction.”
From that time Jesus began to preach and say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
Therefore He is also able to save forever those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.

Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out.
