Coming of Jesus (4/4)

  • For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
  • So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
  • Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.
  • But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
Though you are little among the thousands of Judah,
Yet out of you shall come forth to Me
The One to be Ruler in Israel,
Whose goings forth are from of old,
    From everlasting.
  • Then Jesus said to them, “I shall be with you a little while longer, and then I go to Him who sent Me.”
  • But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.
  • Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
  • Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
  • Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
  • And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
  • But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
  • We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.
  • But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.”
  • For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
  • So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.
  • And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.
  • And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.
  • And daily in the temple, and in every house, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ.
  • But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”
  • Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
  • And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.
  • Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.
  • But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.

Bible verse of the day

For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.
