15 Bible Verses about 'Confess'
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. |
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. | |
For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. |
And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing. |
Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. | |
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. |
I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. |
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. |
He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. |
He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. |
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. |
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. |
Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) | وَلْنَتَمَسَّكْ دَائِماً بِالرَّجَاءِ الَّذِي نَعْتَرِفُ بِهِ، دُونَ أَنْ نَشُكَّ فِي أَنَّهُ سَيَتَحَقَّقُ، لأَنَّ الَّذِي وَعَدَنَا بِتَحْقِيقِهِ، هُوَ أَمِينٌ وَصَادِقٌ. |
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. |
Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. |
