Bible Verses about 'Consider'

  • Only fear the Lord, and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.
  • For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
  • Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds?
  • In the day of prosperity be joyful,
    But in the day of adversity consider:
    Surely God has appointed the one as well as the other,
    So that man can find out nothing that will come after him.
  • And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?
  • And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
  • Therefore know this day, and consider it in your heart, that the Lord Himself is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other.
  • Who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
  • Even a fool is counted wise when he holds his peace;
    When he shuts his lips, he is considered perceptive.
  • It is a snare for a man to devote rashly something as holy,
    And afterward to reconsider his vows.
  • Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects;
    Therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty.
  • You should know in your heart that as a man chastens his son, so the Lord your God chastens you.
  • Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted.
  • If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless.
  • By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised.
  • But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.
  • But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
  • But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.”
  • One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind.
  • Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.
  • Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.
  • Surely He has borne our griefs
    And carried our sorrows;
    Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
    Smitten by God, and afflicted.
  • But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.
  • Again, I saw that for all toil and every skillful work a man is envied by his neighbor. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind.
  • And the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence.
