- Only fear Yahweh, and serve him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things he has done for you.
- For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed toward us.
- Consider the ravens: they don’t sow, they don’t reap, they have no warehouse or barn, and God feeds them. How much more valuable are you than birds!
- In the day of prosperity be joyful, and in the day of adversity consider; yes, God has made the one side by side with the other, to the end that man should not find out anything after him.
- It is a snare to a man to make a rash dedication,
then later to consider his vows. - Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
- Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but don’t consider the beam that is in your own eye?
- You shall consider in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so Yahweh your God disciplines you.
- Who, existing in the form of God, didn’t consider equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to the point of death, yes, the death of the cross.
- Know therefore today, and take it to heart, that Yahweh himself is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath. There is no one else.
- Let each one of us please his neighbor for that which is good, to be building him up.
- Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects.
Therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty. - But Yahweh said to Samuel, “Don’t look on his face, or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for I don’t see as man sees. For man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart.”
- Turn at my reproof.
Behold, I will pour out my spirit on you.
I will make known my words to you. - You shall not misuse the name of Yahweh your God; for Yahweh will not hold him guiltless who misuses his name.
- Be of the same mind one toward another. Don’t set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Don’t be wise in your own conceits.
- If anyone among you thinks himself to be religious while he doesn’t bridle his tongue, but deceives his heart, this man’s religion is worthless.
- One man esteems one day as more important. Another esteems every day alike. Let each man be fully assured in his own mind.
- But these things don’t count; nor do I hold my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to fully testify to the Good News of the grace of God.
- As knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave-traders, for liars, for perjurers, and for any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine, according to the Good News of the glory of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.
Yahweh’s eyes are toward the righteous.
His ears listen to their cry. Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord.Next verse! With image
