Delight yourself in the Lord; And He will give you the desires of your heart.Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he tells a lie, he speaks from his own nature, because he is a liar and the father of lies.You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
For, “The one who desires life, to love and see good days, Must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit. He must turn away from evil and do good; He must seek peace and pursue it.”For, “Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech. They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it.”
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously, and in a godly manner in the present age.For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age.
The world is passing away and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God continues to live forever.The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.
For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace.The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.
For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake, this is the one who will save it.For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it.

Therefore, treat the parts of your earthly body as dead to sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry.Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.
And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”
Through these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world on account of lust.Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
May He grant you your heart’s desire And fulfill your whole plan!May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world.For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world.

That they were saying to you, “In the last time there will be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts.” These are the ones who cause divisions, worldly-minded, devoid of the Spirit.They said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.” These are the people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.
Behold, as for the impudent one, His soul is not right within him; But the righteous one will live by his faith.See, the enemy is puffed up; his desires are not upright— but the righteous person will live by his faithfulness.
For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it.
And sitting down, He called the twelve and said to them, “If anyone wants to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.”Sitting down, Jesus called the Twelve and said, “Anyone who wants to be first must be the very last, and the servant of all.”

Indeed, while following the way of Your judgments, Lord, We have waited for You eagerly; Your name, and remembering You, is the desire of our souls.Yes, Lord, walking in the way of your laws, we wait for you; your name and renown are the desire of our hearts.
