Bible Verses about 'Do'
And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do as much. | And if you do good only to those who do good to you, why should you get credit? Even sinners do that much! |

Why do you take note of the splinter in your brother’s eye but do not notice the wooden plank in your own eye? | And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own? |
Whatever you ask in my name I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. | You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. |
In God, whose word I praise, in God I place my trust and know no fear; what can people do to me? | I praise God for what he has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me? |

Although we are human beings, we do not engage in battle according to human standards. | We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do. |
How much more valuable a man is than a sheep! Therefore, it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath. | And how much more valuable is a person than a sheep! Yes, the law permits a person to do good on the Sabbath. |
Therefore, whenever you give alms, do not trumpet your generosity, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets in order to win the praise of others. Amen, I say to you, they have already received their reward. | When you give to someone in need, don’t do as the hypocrites do—blowing trumpets in the synagogues and streets to call attention to their acts of charity! I tell you the truth, they have received all the reward they will ever get. |
And learn to do good. Pursue justice and rescue the oppressed; listen to the plea of the orphan and defend the widow. | Learn to do good. Seek justice. Help the oppressed. Defend the cause of orphans. Fight for the rights of widows. |
