For who would begin construction of a building without first calculating the cost to see if there is enough money to finish it?For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?
Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
Instead, I want to see a mighty flood of justice, an endless river of righteous living.But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.
When the Lord Jesus had finished talking with them, he was taken up into heaven and sat down in the place of honor at God’s right hand.So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne.To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.

When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven.Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.
Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins!Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
My future is in your hands. Rescue me from those who hunt me down relentlessly.My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.
And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up.And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
The Lord makes some poor and others rich; he brings some down and lifts others up.The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.

Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
