- Commit thy works unto the Lord,
and thy thoughts shall be established. - Ponder the path of thy feet,
and let all thy ways be established. - Without counsel purposes are disappointed:
but in the multitude of counsellors they are established. - But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
- The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord:
and he delighteth in his way. - For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established; That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
- Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
- And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses.
- There are many devices in a man's heart;
nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand. - For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
- But he knoweth the way that I take:
when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
My foot hath held his steps,
his way have I kept, and not declined. - That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love.
And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the Lord, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring. These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.Next verse!With image
