Bible Verses about 'FOR IT IS GOD WHO WORKS IN YOU TO AND WILL'

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
But I tell you, do not swear an oath at all: either by heaven, for it is God’s throne; or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King. But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.
But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
Do not say, “Why were the old days better than these?” For it is not wise to ask such questions.Say not thou, What is the cause that the former days were better than these? for thou dost not enquire wisely concerning this.
But, “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.” For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends. But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth.
Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial, do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit. But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
We who are Jews by birth and not sinful Gentiles know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified. We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
Then he said to them, “Whoever welcomes this little child in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. For it is the one who is least among you all who is the greatest.”And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act.Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.
If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.
And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
For who is God besides the Lord? And who is the Rock except our God?For who is God save the Lord? or who is a rock save our God?
It is written: ‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.’For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
For who is God besides the Lord? And who is the Rock except our God?For who is God, save the Lord? and who is a rock, save our God?
It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the pagans, who do not know God.For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour; Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God.
So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard? He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
Keep me safe, my God, for in you I take refuge.Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.
When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
