- Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- For this reason he is the mediator of a new covenant, since a death has occurred for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, that those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
- “No weapon that is formed against you will prevail;

He will guide the humble in justice.
He will teach the humble his way. - Only one is the lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge another?
- Flee from youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
- Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, everyone who commits sin is the bondservant of sin.”
- Blessed is he whose disobedience is forgiven,
whose sin is covered. - Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.
- Bring us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.
For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen. - What is man, that you think of him?
What is the son of man, that you care for him? - But the Scripture imprisoned all things under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
- For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, to the end that you may be established; that is, that I with you may be encouraged in you, each of us by the other’s faith, both yours and mine.
- Every man also to whom God has given riches and wealth, and has given him power to eat of it, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labor—this is the gift of God.

for out of it is the wellspring of life. - Whom, not having known, you love. In him, though now you don’t see him, yet believing, you rejoice greatly with joy that is unspeakable and full of glory, receiving the result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
- I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me.
- There is a way which seems right to a man,
but in the end it leads to death. - For I say through the grace that was given me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of yourself more highly than you ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.
- Isn’t this the fast that I have chosen:
to release the bonds of wickedness,
to undo the straps of the yoke,
to let the oppressed go free,
and that you break every yoke?
