- The Lord is righteous in everything he does;
he is filled with kindness. - He guards the paths of the just
and protects those who are faithful to him. - But the love of the Lord remains forever
with those who fear him.
His salvation extends to the children’s children
of those who are faithful to his covenant,
of those who obey his commandments! - The Lord will work out his plans for my life—
for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever.
Don’t abandon me, for you made me. - But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.
- For the Lord loves justice,
and he will never abandon the godly.
He will keep them safe forever,
but the children of the wicked will die. - You who love the Lord, hate evil!
He protects the lives of his godly people
and rescues them from the power of the wicked.
