- For you will bless the righteous.
Yahweh, you will surround him with favor as with a shield. - Jesus, looking at them, said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God, for all things are possible with God.”
- Better is a little with righteousness,
than great revenues with injustice. - But he said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”
- Then Jesus said, “I will be with you a little while longer, then I go to him who sent me.”
- Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with me.
- I cried to him with my mouth.
He was extolled with my tongue. - May Yahweh our God be with us as he was with our fathers. Let him not leave us or forsake us.
- But to you who fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in its wings. You will go out and leap like calves of the stall.
- Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, to repay to each man according to his work.
- Hear, Israel: Yahweh is our God. Yahweh is one. You shall love Yahweh your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might.
- Better is little, with the fear of Yahweh,
than great treasure with trouble. - Teach me your way, Yahweh.
I will walk in your truth.
Make my heart undivided to fear your name. - Show me your ways, Yahweh.
Teach me your paths. - Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me.
Your rod and your staff,
they comfort me. - Do the things which you learned, received, heard, and saw in me, and the God of peace will be with you.
- All these with one accord continued steadfastly in prayer and supplication, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.
- Oh that there were such a heart in them that they would fear me and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them and with their children forever!
- I will never forget your precepts,
for with them, you have revived me. - Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord.
- Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they shall be filled. - So that with good courage we say,
“The Lord is my helper. I will not fear.
What can man do to me?” - For with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation.
- Yahweh will command his loving kindness in the daytime.
In the night his song shall be with me:
a prayer to the God of my life. - I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me.
