| In you, Yahweh, I take refuge. Let me never be disappointed. Deliver me in your righteousness. | In You, Lord, I have taken refuge; Let me never be put to shame; In Your righteousness rescue me. |
| Why do you set your eyes on that which is not? For it certainly sprouts wings like an eagle and flies in the sky. | When you set your eyes on it, it is gone. For wealth certainly makes itself wings Like an eagle that flies toward the heavens. |

| As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don’t need for anyone to teach you. | For a day in your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. | For a day in Your courtyards is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God Than live in the tents of wickedness. |
| Nevertheless in your manifold mercies you didn’t make a full end of them, nor forsake them; for you are a gracious and merciful God. | Nevertheless, in Your great compassion You did not make an end of them or abandon them, For You are a gracious and compassionate God. |
