Bible Verses about 'For it is god who works in you to and will'

For it is not from wisdom that you ask about this. - But I say to you, take no oath at all, neither by heaven, for it is the throne of God, nor by the earth, for it is the footstool of His feet, nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.
- Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written: “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.
- Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise, exalt, and honor the King of heaven, for all His works are true and His ways just; and He is able to humble those who walk in pride.

And your plans will be established. - Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Your light must shine before people in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

- Consequently, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God. For the one who has entered His rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from His.

Do not fear them,
For they can do no harm,
Nor can they do any good. - Protect me, God, for I take refuge in You.
- The Lord will accomplish what concerns me;
Your faithfulness, Lord, is everlasting;
Do not abandon the works of Your hands. - “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
- You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.
- If you remain in Me, and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
- Therefore leaving the elementary teaching about the Christ, let us press on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of instruction about washings and laying on of hands, and about the resurrection of the dead and eternal judgment.
- For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
- But if it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served, which were beyond the Euphrates River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
- And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for the one who comes to God must believe that He exists, and that He proves to be One who rewards those who seek Him.
- We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
- For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand,
Who says to you, ‘Do not fear, I will help you.’ - And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
- And heal those in it who are sick, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’
- But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
- These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. And you shall repeat them diligently to your sons and speak of them when you sit in your house, when you walk on the road, when you lie down, and when you get up.
