- For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.

Who but our God is a solid rock? - For who is God except the Lord?
Who but our God is a solid rock? - My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
- But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil.
- But when I am afraid,
I will put my trust in you. - Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them.
It is shameful even to talk about the things that ungodly people do in secret. - Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say,
“I will take revenge;
I will pay them back,”
says the Lord. - Do not withhold good from those who deserve it
when it’s in your power to help them. - God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
- So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.
- Keep me safe, O God,
for I have come to you for refuge. - It is the same with my word.
I send it out, and it always produces fruit.
It will accomplish all I want it to,
and it will prosper everywhere I send it.
