- God, you are my God.
I will earnestly seek you.
My soul thirsts for you.
My flesh longs for you,
in a dry and weary land, where there is no water. - I wait for Yahweh.
My soul waits.
I hope in his word. - For you were called to this, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving you an example, that you should follow his steps.
- I don’t reject the grace of God. For if righteousness is through the law, then Christ died for nothing!
- ‘For in him we live, move, and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also his offspring.’

and by his wounds we are healed. - For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
- I will walk in liberty,
for I have sought your precepts. - For who is God, besides Yahweh?
Who is a rock, besides our God? - But I tell you, don’t swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is the throne of God; nor by the earth, for it is the footstool of his feet; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.
- For whoever finds me finds life,
and will obtain favor from Yahweh. - You call me, ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord.’ You say so correctly, for so I am.
- For who is God, except Yahweh?
Who is a rock, besides our God? - For, “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
- For Yahweh’s word is right.
All his work is done in faithfulness. - I will never forget your precepts,
for with them, you have revived me. - For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only don’t use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love be servants to one another.
