- And he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the whole world.
- For his anger is but for a moment.
His favor is for a lifetime.
Weeping may stay for the night,
but joy comes in the morning. - For nothing spoken by God is impossible.
- But if we hope for that which we don’t see, we wait for it with patience.
- Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they shall be filled. - Preserve me, God, for I take refuge in you.
- As knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave-traders, for liars, for perjurers, and for any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine, according to the Good News of the glory of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.
- For the love of Christ compels us; because we judge thus: that one died for all, therefore all died. He died for all, that those who live should no longer live to themselves, but to him who for their sakes died and rose again.
- For while we were yet weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
- My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When shall I come and appear before God? - For Christ is the fulfillment of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
- For we walk by faith, not by sight.
- Oh give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good,
for his loving kindness endures forever. - As the deer pants for the water brooks,
so my soul pants after you, God. - For one will hardly die for a righteous man. Yet perhaps for a good person someone would even dare to die. But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
- For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven.
- For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, because it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first, and also for the Greek.
- My soul, wait in silence for God alone,
for my expectation is from him. - For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory.
- Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that each person who belongs to God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
- For the creation waits with eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.
- But as for me, I will look to Yahweh.
I will wait for the God of my salvation.
My God will hear me. - Open your mouth for the mute,
in the cause of all who are left desolate. - Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity and purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works.
- Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.
Help us, God of our salvation, for the glory of your name.
Deliver us, and forgive our sins, for your name’s sake.He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress.
I will not be shaken.
