- And he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.
- For his anger is but for a moment;
his favor is for a lifetime.
Weeping may linger for the night,
but joy comes with the morning. - For nothing will be impossible with God.
- But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.
- As a deer longs for flowing streams,
so my soul longs for you, O God. - For the love of Christ urges us on, because we are convinced that one has died for all; therefore all have died. And he died for all, so that those who live might live no longer for themselves, but for him who died and was raised for them.
- Speak out for those who cannot speak,
for the rights of all the destitute. - For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope.
- Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
- Protect me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
- For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
- My soul thirsts for God,
for the living God.
When shall I come and behold
the face of God? - For we walk by faith, not by sight.
- O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
for his steadfast love endures forever. - For Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.
- For God alone my soul waits in silence,
for my hope is from him. - For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.
- Indeed, rarely will anyone die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person someone might actually dare to die. But God proves his love for us in that while we still were sinners Christ died for us.
- All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that everyone who belongs to God may be proficient, equipped for every good work.
- For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the children of God.
- For the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.
- But as for me, I will look to the Lord,
I will wait for the God of my salvation;
my God will hear me. - Help us, O God of our salvation,
for the glory of your name;
deliver us, and forgive our sins,
for your name's sake. - This means understanding that the law is laid down not for the innocent but for the lawless and disobedient, for the godless and sinful, for the unholy and profane, for those who kill their father or mother, for murderers, fornicators, sodomites, slave traders, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to the sound teaching that conforms to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me.
- For those who want to save their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake, and for the sake of the gospel, will save it.
Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For it is on him that God the Father has set his seal.But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for see—I am bringing you good news of great joy for all the people.” So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.Next verse!With image
