Before the mountains were born, before you had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, you are God.Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.
Yahweh God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil. Now, lest he reach out his hand, and also take of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever—” Therefore Yahweh God sent him out from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from which he was taken.And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.” So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken.
Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there might be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God.See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.
Don’t you be like your fathers, to whom the former prophets proclaimed, saying: Yahweh of Armies says, ‘Return now from your evil ways and from your evil doings;’ but they didn’t hear nor listen to me, says Yahweh.Do not be like your ancestors, to whom the earlier prophets proclaimed: This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘Turn from your evil ways and your evil practices.’ But they would not listen or pay attention to me, declares the Lord.
To him who is ready to faint, kindness should be shown from his friend; even to him who forsakes the fear of the Almighty.Anyone who withholds kindness from a friend forsakes the fear of the Almighty.
That if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
But now, being made free from sin and having become servants of God, you have your fruit of sanctification and the result of eternal life.But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
It is an honor for a man to keep aloof from strife, but every fool will be quarreling.It is to one’s honor to avoid strife, but every fool is quick to quarrel.
Until the Spirit is poured on us from on high, and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, and the fruitful field is considered a forest.Till the Spirit is poured on us from on high, and the desert becomes a fertile field, and the fertile field seems like a forest.
He who turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination.If anyone turns a deaf ear to my instruction, even their prayers are detestable.
And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and will preserve me for his heavenly Kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity and purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works.Who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.
He is the head of the body, the assembly, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things he might have the preeminence.And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.
This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.
But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son, cleanses us from all sin.But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
But from there you shall seek Yahweh your God, and you will find him when you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul.But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul.
Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh.He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord.
You shall not add to the word which I command you, neither shall you take away from it, that you may keep the commandments of Yahweh your God which I command you.Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you.
For in it is revealed God’s righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, “But the righteous shall live by faith.”For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.
So then the other disciple who came first to the tomb also entered in, and he saw and believed. For as yet they didn’t know the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead.Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed. (They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.)
For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
Having therefore these promises, beloved, let’s cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.
Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones.Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.
