- For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”

- Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me. - By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.
- Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.
- For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
- For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.
- There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling.
- Blessed are the poor in spirit,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. - Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
- Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
- But when they arrest you and deliver you up, do not worry beforehand, or premeditate what you will speak. But whatever is given you in that hour, speak that; for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit.
- A wholesome tongue is a tree of life,
But perverseness in it breaks the spirit. - But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”
- The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit,
A broken and a contrite heart—
These, O God, You will not despise. - But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.”
- But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
- Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.”
