Fruit of spirit and holy spirit (4/4)

  • Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
    And whose hope is the Lord.
    For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters,
    Which spreads out its roots by the river,
    And will not fear when heat comes;
    But its leaf will be green,
    And will not be anxious in the year of drought,
    Nor will cease from yielding fruit.
  • For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
  • Teach me to do Your will,
    For You are my God;
    Your Spirit is good.
    Lead me in the land of uprightness.
  • Though the fig tree may not blossom,
    Nor fruit be on the vines;
    Though the labor of the olive may fail,
    And the fields yield no food;
    Though the flock may be cut off from the fold,
    And there be no herd in the stalls—
    Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
    I will joy in the God of my salvation.
  • For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
  • A merry heart does good, like medicine,
    But a broken spirit dries the bones.
  • There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
  • Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
  • Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
  • I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.
  • When all the people were baptized, it came to pass that Jesus also was baptized; and while He prayed, the heaven was opened. And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven which said, “You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.”
  • Not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.
  • Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
  • I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
  • This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel:
    ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’
    Says the Lord of hosts.
  • That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.
  • Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
  • So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.
  • And you shall be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy, and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be Mine.
  • A talebearer reveals secrets,
    But he who is of a faithful spirit conceals a matter.
  • A man’s pride will bring him low,
    But the humble in spirit will retain honor.
  • Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
  • And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, “Father, ‘into Your hands I commit My spirit.’ ” Having said this, He breathed His last.
  • Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
  • But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.
