- For whoever finds me finds life
and receives favor from the Lord. - While physical training has some value, the benefits of godliness are unlimited, since it holds out promise not only for this life but also for the life to come.
- The desires of the flesh result in death, but the desires of the Spirit result in life and peace.
- I am the good shepherd.
The good shepherd
lays down his life for the sheep. - Do not be concerned about your life and what you will have to eat, or about your body and what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.

than to lay down his life for his friends. - Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness
will find life and honor too.
