| For we have become partakers of Christ if we keep the beginning of our commitment firm until the end. | For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end. |
| And He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. | And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. |
| A person’s gift makes room for him And brings him before great people. | A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men. |

| You husbands in the same way, live with your wives in an understanding way, as with someone weaker, since she is a woman; and show her honor as a fellow heir of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered. | Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered. |
| And He summoned the crowd together with His disciples, and said to them, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me.” | And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. |

| The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears And rescues them from all their troubles.
